Volunteers will complete Part B of Hub Certification when they serve in this role and pass a simple verbal test. This option is only for those who have had prior training (Part A) in the Hub system at one of our prior workshops or events.
Volunteers are part of a team and must attend from 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM (including pre- and post-event discussions). Spots are limited -- sign up now.
"Walk-Ups" are provided with cards describing a situation which they then pretend to be bringing to the Hub. For example, "My elderly neighbor depends on medical equipment. She only has three hours of battery remaining and her caregivers are unreachable. What should we do?".
"Walk-Ups" simply stop-by for about 30 minutes (or longer if you want) anytime between 2:30 - 3:00 PM (you'll be done by 3:30 at the latest). It's fun and educational and no prior experience or workshops are required -- all are welcome!
